Royal Family Stops By Epsom Derby Festival

Britain's royal family spent Saturday afternoon at the Epsom Derby Festival in Surrey -- and it seems that everyone accessorized with headgear, in typical English fashion.
The Duchess of Cambridge a.k.a. Kate Middleton picked a sort-of tilted bronze pillbox hat with a decorative squiggle paired with a white coat and swingy skirt, while Princess Beatrice matched a flower piece with her floral frock and Princess Eugenie stuck with a simple sun hat to complement her polka-dotted dress. Even Prince William and Prince Harry participated in the sartorial parade, topping off their looks with some serious top hats.

Jolly good then. . . . . .   Looks like the newlyweds are settling into their first year of marriage quite nicely.  I remember our first official outing after our marriage.  My wife and I went to a Perkins restaurant and had pie.  I don’t recall that there were any photographers but I did, wear a top hat.
