Shirtless Politicians: Anthony Weiner Not Alone

Anthony Weiner probably wishes his shirtless photo -- among other images -- hadn't been made public. But that beefcake picture actually puts the Democratic congressman in select company.
Weiner (D-N.Y.) has joined the ranks of bare-chested lawmakers and world leaders who have been photographed without a shirt.
The stripped down list of stripped down politicians includes American presidents like John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama.
Overseas leaders are no stranger to overexposure -- French President Nicolas Sarkozy and Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin have both been photographed topless.
Shirtless photos can give a politician a boost, as they did when Americans were surprised to see then president-elect Obama's fit physique during a beach vacation.
Or they can lead to a politician's downfall, as was the case for former Rep. Chris Lee (R-N.Y.), who resigned after sending shirtless photos of himself to a woman via a Craigslist ad.
